Feng Ciao
This master bedroom/bathroom suite was designed for a client with discerning taste. He requested a space with clean minimalist lines and a neutral color palette using natural materials such as porcelain, glass, wood, and limestone. The design is a combination of Italian Modern and Zen elements creating what we affectionately refer to as "Feng Ciao"
This bathroom includes several amenities; a heated floor, jacuzzi tub, and curbless steam shower with a floating bench. A 2x8 stud wall allowed us to make the shower niche and custom medicine cabinet deeper for additional storage.
Accessibility was a major design consideration when creating the curbless shower. The shower pan was carefully sloped and channels cut into the tile work in order to accommodate 6"x24" tile on the floor which extended into the shower and the frameless glass installation.
