Tuscan Twist
When EXPO Design Center, who was originally scheduled to renovate this Master Bath, went out of business, we received the call. We had exactly 5 weeks to design, pull together all the tile, plumbing, electrical, glass and mirror, accessories, and assemble our installation team.
The entire room is approximately 84 sq. ft. The floor plan remained basically the same. The shower was enlarged and the built in vanity was replaced by a plumbed demilune. Given the ample ceiling height, we decided to install an arched ceiling in the shower which still left us room to put in a dropped crown moulding with rope lighting.
The basic color scheme is “taupe” and “rain”. Our approach was to create a familiar traditional look and feel but to dress it up with some contemporary features such as the glass tiles in the shower panel and mirror surround. The color being echoed in the silk dupion roman window treatment and sconce shades.
